BANGALORE and ATLANTA - Décembre 20, 2011 - Global supply chain optimisation provider Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) today announced that Mrs. T. S. Ushasri, the company’s vice president and managing director of its operations in India, has been named Chief Executive Officer of the of the Year by the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), a premier Institution in India in the field of Materials and Supply Chain Management. The honour, in IIMM’s private sector awards category, recognises Mrs. Ushasri for her outstanding achievements and significant contributions in the area of Supply Chain Management.
Mrs. Ushasri leads Manhattan’s 850-strong team in Bangalore, a group representing approximately two thirds of the company’s global R&D function and which is made up of some of India’s brightest and most talented technology professionals.
Manhattan Associates’ Bangalore operations were established in 2002 and have played an instrumental role, alongside the company’s Atlanta-based R&D unit, in releasing more than 40 supply chain solutions, and notably Manhattan Associates’ Supply Chain Process Platform which is a unified, integrated supply chain technology platform. The solutions co-developed by the team in Bangalore are helping shape global best practice in supply chain management and are being adopted by many of the world’s most innovative brands.
The award was presented to Mrs. Ushasri on December 2 during an awards ceremony organised as part of Natcom 2011, the IIMM’s National Convention hosted at The Constitution Club of India in New Delhi on December 2-3 and themed: ‘Achieving Inclusive and Sustainable Growth – Role of Supply Chains’.
