The responsibilities of a Consultant include many of the day-to-day tasks involved with implementing Manhattan Associates' product offerings. The Consultant works with the Project Manager to ensure successful implementation resulting in a reference-able client. This includes understanding the client's functional flow, taking responsibility for product configuration and data set-up, maintaining the issues list, unit testing the base functions and modifications, and on-site support during the client's go live. The Consultant can expect 50 - 75% travel.
Consults with client to define need or problem, conducts studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyzes data to advise on or recommend solution by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understands and follows product implementation Methodology. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of core product functionality.

Supports design effort, including interface and MHE design.

Prepare and execute CRP.
-
Supports modification development, delivery, and change management.
-
Develop and execute unit and system test plans.
-
Configures MA products. Execute system test per the functional flow. Manage issue resolution.

Prepare and execute customer specific training.

Support client development of system and procedural documentation.

Support client conversion and Go-Live.
-
Assists in transition of client to Customer Support.

Updates and maintains project documentation and project folder in timely manner. Develops positive working relationships with clients and internal support resources. Present technical concepts to both client and internal audiences.

Establish oneself as a primary point of contact for the client. Identify and escalate issues within Manhattan Associates reporting structure.

Account for appropriate and accurate time and forecast entry.

Maintain a billability of 80% and proactively address billability and utilization with your manager.
Education and/or Experience

Candidates will have attended one of the leading universities and obtained an Engineering of Technology degree.

Fluent in French and English.

Commercial awareness, ideally gained from a placement year or a previous role within the technology sector.

Excellent Communication skills together with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, at all organizational levels.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
