Samir Tank, Principal Consultant, Professional Services, UK

BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Reading University
MSc Business and Telecoms Queen Mary, University of London

My job involves interacting with clients, wherever in the world they maybe. I am part of the whole project lifecycle from the initial concept of the solution through to the Go-Live.

I enjoy my role at Manhattan Associates because I get to work with lots of new technologies (Virtualization VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008, voice directed systems) and travel to new and exciting destinations. In 2010 I was selected to go to Presidents Club which was held in Cancun, Mexico.

The people at Manhattan Associates are fantastic and have the passion for success. This helps creates a positive working environment which I enjoy being a part of.

I would recommend Manhattan Associates to a friend because there is never a dull moment! It is a very rewarding company to work for as they appreciate and encourage your input. You are embraced into a cooperative culture that is true and honest.

Raphael Herve, Manager, Professional Services, France

Engineering degree, specializing in Computer Science and Knowledge Engineering, SUPELEC
Masters degree, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta

My job involves managing a team of technical experts, project managers and developers and overseeing the implementation of our software at client sites.

I enjoy my role at Manhattan Associates because I work with and manage a team of skilled and valuable people and I have had the opportunity to travel to locations such as the UK, the US and India and have managed international projects in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

I would recommend Manhattan Associates to a friend because you don’t feel like a number, you develop strong bonds within the team and there is a great sense of solidarity and community. Being part of an international company it enables opportunities to travel, and work in an international environment.

David Fontaine. Senior Solutions Consultant, France

Masters degree, Manufacturing Management, Pennsylvania University
Master degree, Ecole Centrale de Lyon

I joined Manhattan Associates as an Implementation Consultant and quickly progressed to Project Leader. I now play a key role in the Pre-Sales team; using the knowledge I have gained in Supply Chain best practices to develop the business in France and the other European markets.

I enjoy my role as I have a lot of autonomy with cross-functional responsibilities including actively supporting business development, marketing initiatives, project management through to complex sales.

I would recommend Manhattan Associates to a friend as the company recognises and encourages teamwork and we are seen by our customers as strategic, long term partners, powering excellence and thriving on innovation.

Angela Yu, Senior Consultant, Professional Services, UK

MSc Science & Technology Policy and Management, University of Manchester
MEng Computer Science & Cybernetics, University of Reading

My job involves travelling across the globe meeting clients and helping them enhance their supply chain efficiencies, bringing a new perspective on best practices for their warehouse operations.

I enjoy my role at Manhattan Associates because every client is unique and every project presents a new challenge.  I use my technical and functional knowledge to design more efficient and streamlined Supply Chain processes and it gives me great sense of satisfaction when a system goes live as I get to see the output of my efforts.

At Manhattan Associates we share a common goal and help each other, no questions asked.  I feel that Manhattan Associates offers a unique career experience as I have learnt so much and worked in so many different countries in a relatively short space of time.
